On 13 September 2023, BNN is holding the BioNanoNet Annual Forum & BNN Networking Session in Vienna, Austria (TUtheSky). The focus topic of the event is “Biofunctionalization”. However, several further competencies of the BioNanoNet Association members and collaboration partners will be presented.
Another highlight of the Annual Forum will be a dedicated session on “Excellent Science and Collaboration Opportunities”, in which the opportunity is given to “Pitch & Match for Upcoming Calls”. Calls mainly of the Horizon Europe program of Cluster 4, as well as from Clusters 1, 5 and 6 will be presented by the national contact point, and participants are invited to pitch ideas for their specific project and seek collaboration partners.
We want to highlight the presentation of Sebastian Schwaminger, chair of NanoMedicine Austria, from the Medical University of Graz, who will give a talk on “Combining nanotechnology and millifluidics: Sorting of yeast cells according to their age” in this session.
Our past event feedback has shown that face-to-face participants appreciate having enough interaction time during our events, and this event will be no different. The evening will end with a networking dinner enjoying a view of the city, ensuring plenty of time to get to know each other.
Finally, we hope you’ll stay on for further back-to-back events: Microfluidics in their PRIME and the NanoTrust Conference, both on 14 September.
The event will be open to the public.
Looking forward seeing you soon in Vienna!
