NM-AT-Publication

NanoMedicine-Austria members worked together on two scientific papers published in 2023. In “Investigation of the Influence of Wound-Treatment-Relevant Buffer Systems on the Colloidal and Optical Properties of Gold Nanoparticles”, published in Nanomaterials, the University of Graz, RCPE, TU Vienna, and Medical University of Graz joined forces to research the combination of using biocompatible gold nanoparticles and an acidic microenvironment to optimize the wound healing process.

  • Selmani, Atiđa, Ramona Jeitler, Michael Auinger, Carolin Tetyczka, Peter Banzer, Brian Kantor, Gerd Leitinger, and Eva Roblegg. 2023. “Investigation of the Influence of Wound-Treatment-Relevant Buffer Systems on the Colloidal and Optical Properties of Gold NanoparticlesNanomaterials 13, no. 12: 1878. https://doi.org/10.3390/nano13121878.

In “Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles for their application in the human body: Influence of the surface”, published in Heliyon, TU Munich, Medical University of Graz, TU Graz and BioTechMed-Graz investigated the effects of various coatings on the behavior of iron oxide nanoparticles.
